Sermon Overview
Date: August 20th 2017
Speaker: Pastor Michael Larrabee
Location: Full Gospel Mission Church Stanley-Boyd WI
Series: Heritage Series
Scripture: [biblegateway passage=”Acts 14:8-10″]
Summary: Paul and Barnabas had just been chased out of Iconium and here they are preaching the gospel in a new town, but in the midst of the crowd they see a man with faith and a desire to be made whole. In that moment the minister sets aside his plans and agenda to do the will of God. Because Paul was sensitive to the man standing in front of him God used him to bring a miracle into the life of a crippled man.
We are liekwise challenged to be ever watching and always listening to leading of the Holy Spirit, so we do not miss out on an oppertunity to see God move in our own lives and through us into the lives of those around about us.
Heritage Series
This is sermon eleven in our Heritage Series as we dig into our history as the living Church of God. God has promised that in these last days He would pour out His Spirit upon all flesh. Here we are in these last days and it is our heart’s desire to see Him move us. The book of Acts has not closed and will continue to be written in our personal history as God writes His story with the threads of our lives.
